Good & Rooted Nature School offers outdoor learning experiences for children aged 0-12+ years old, in Central Pennsylvania. Our classes are thoughtfully designed to meet the unique and diverse needs of all learners.

2024/2025 Schedule

  • Thurdays | 10-11:15 | $95/5-week session

    In our caregiver & child class, little ones aged 0-6+ will hear stories, sing songs, and engage in invitations to play. They will cultivate gross and fine motor skills, early literacy foundations, and social-emotional skills while exploring our outdoor classroom, alongside their grown up.

  • Fridays | 9:30 - 2:30 | $175/mo

    In our homeschool enrichment program, children aged 5-12+ will be introduced to beauty subjects such as poetry readings, picture study, and music appreciation. They will take nature walks, keep phenology records, and participate in field activities to develop their naturalist and survival skills. They will also explore a wide variety of core subjects such as science, art, history, and geography, through literature and hands-on projects.

  • Monday Holidays | 9:30 -2:30 | $55/day

    Are schools closed? Our outdoor classroom is open! Drop your child off for a day of outdoor exploration and hands-on learning on the following dates: October 14th, January 20th, February 17th, April 21st
